All four of us gave Mike our pay for the night. He's expensive for bass & vocal lessons.

Words can't describe!!! I'll try harder later, right now, I'm still in awe. The show was so much fun, for everyone, especially Michael Anthony, that it had to be illegal in some states. Rock n Roll baby!

WOW! You ROCK! I can't imagine how STOKED you must have been to be actually playing with one of the Legends that you have for so long honored with your respectful and impressive renditions!! I am so happy for you guys! I believe that THAT must have been the ultimate compliment - because you KNOW that if you guys didn't sincerely FRICKIN' ROCK THE HOUSE on such a consistent basis, there's no way that Michael "the Man" Anthony would have dared join you! Congratulations for reaching the top of your profession! Sometimes "tribute" bands don't get the respect that may be deserved (and that's a shame) but it's obvious by virtue of your latest "stand-in" that you guys are the BEST at what you do!! I have become a loyal fan (one among SO MANY!) and wanted to say THANK YOU for your hard work - it shows and you're appreciated! Thanks too, for letting your TALENT and sincere enthusiasm kick ass for you and for not desperately resorting to vulgar, cheap, profanity, etc. in order to attempt to "relate" with your crowd...! You can be decent guys and still pack the house!! That's AWESOME to see these days!! YOU KEEP ROCKIN'! and WE'LL KEEP TALKIN'... about you! See you at the next one!!

Hard to compare to what their fans in Anaheim witnessed the night before, the Atomic Punks as always, did not disappoint their Minnesota fans, almost 2 years after their first visit!!! Highlights for me were witnessing a new fans first Atomic Punks experience(welcome to the our group Todd)!!! Back to back "Hear About It Later" and "Unchained" were unbelievable!!! Surprised to not hear "Running with the Devil" or "Panama", but as always a great show!! See you March 29th!!!

The Atomic Punks were already ON FIRE in front of a COMPLETEY SOLD OUT show...
...then after Russ' guitar solo Michael Anthony comes out playing the bass over his head thumping out the introduction to RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL
... and the crowd WENT COMPLETELY WILD!
He played and SANG a shitload of songs with the Atomic Punks (even LEAD VOCALS on Somebody Get Me a Docter). They were all smiling and praising each other the whole time!
It was incredible!! Then Michael goes up to the balcony to check out a few songs, and hang with fans... I saw him shaking hands, signing items, and snapping photos with Van Halen fans the whole night!
Then, during the last song of the set, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF PANAMA, Joe Lester sees Michael on the side of the stage, and hands him his bass guiter!!
AND THE CROWD GOES COMPLETELY FUCKING WILD AGAIN!!
Michael does NOT MISS A BEAT, and BRINGS DOWN THE HOUSE (of Blues) with another encore (Light Up the Sky) and then ANOTHER encore (Mean Streets) !!
Yes, this was HOME, and these were some MEAN STREETS!
EVERYONE was having a GOOD TIME, the band, the crowd, the people backstage, the staff, invited friends and family, and especially MICHAEL ANTHONY!
A truly AMAZING NIGHT!
I hope to post my better pictures at albertr.com/VHDLR soon!
I am also looking forward to checking out the videos that were filmed last night. They should be INCREDIBLE!
By far, this was my FAVORITE ATOMIC PUNKS SHOW EVER (and I have seen almost 100).
GOOD TIMES!!
GOOD FUCKING TIMES!!
